ABOUT
I am Calantha Mohanraj, a passionate and driven Bachelor of Science in Data Science student at The University of Texas at Dallas. My work bridges data science, neuroscience, and machine learning — combining rigorous analytical skills with curiosity-driven research.
As a research assistant in the Neurobiology of Basal Ganglia Function and Dysfunction Lab, I process and analyze hundreds of ultrasonic vocalization recordings from mouse social interaction experiments. Using tools like Python, Airflow, SQL, and machine learning models, I design automated pipelines, extract behavioral insights, and help uncover potential biomarkers linked to communication and neurological conditions such as autism.
My academic and project experience spans data engineering, machine learning, A/B testing, recommendation systems, and product analytics, and I am deeply committed to applying data-driven approaches to solve impactful scientific and business problems
